Two things that I have in abundant supply right now: Arugula and Pears. Both go really well together in a tossed salad and I'm currently working on my version of a pear waldorf with arugula that I will post when it comes together.
Today I took what was left of some arugula pesto and smeared in onto some bread dough, rolled up, sliced it down the middle and formed what looked like ribbons of pesto running through the bread.
I used my own bread dough recipe and homemade arugula pesto, but for the non baker/cookers out there frozen bread dough and deli pesto would work equally as well.
