A Wedding in South Dakota

Justin and Lisa's wedding took place in Grenville, South Dakota last week.  We traveled by air to Minneapolis and then by rental car to Grenville.  We'd both been to South Dakota as kids, but were surprised by the beauty of this part of the state.  Large lakes dot this eastern region which draw streams of fishermen looking for a catch.  To our surprise we passed a large herd of buffalo very close to the road.  I could have sat and watched them all day - what massive creatures they are!

After an extremely hot Friday, Saturday turned off much cooler with a picture perfect day in store for Justin and Lisa's monumental day.

Our nephew, Ian was the ringbearer and even with shoes two sizes too small he did a wonderful job.  Here's grandma trying to adjust his shoes and ease his pain.

Lisa's dress was a gorgeous strapless with tufting and a long train.

My camera did not do well inside the reception hall, but I did manage a couple shots of Drew who entertained us with his amazing dancing skills.
